Vidyalaya Akampat, Imphal East Manipur is run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan(KVS) , an autonomus body under MHRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Its Head Quarter is at 18 Institutional Area, Shaheed Jeet Singh Marg, New Delhi -110016. The Vidyalaya is situated in Khurai Lamlong Imphal East district of Manipur and it is a Single Section Civil Sector Vidyalaya from Class I to XII (Humanities Stream).
* Facilities available including games and sports:
1. Sport’s facilities include a small ground.
2. Indoor games such as Table Tennis, Chess, Carom Board, Ludo, Snakes and Ladders are available for rainy days.
3. The vidyalaya emphasizes on co-curricular activities and holistic development of students.
