Labs – Physics/Chemistry/Biology

Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) schools have physics, chemistry, and biology labs that are well-equipped with modern equipment and instruments. The labs are designed to help students develop practical skills, analytical abilities, and a scientific spirit:
Equipment
Labs are equipped with modern equipment such as projectors, computerized systems, PH sensor meters, gas pressure sensors, titration units, drop counters, and more.
Chemicals and glassware
Schools receive modern chemicals and glassware from KVS Headquarters in New Delhi.
Biology labs
Biology labs are equipped with scientific instruments, chemicals, human skeletons, specimens, microscopes, preserved specimens, slides, models, and bio-visual charts.
Lab modernization
KVS is modernizing its science and math labs to make practicals more hands-on and state-of-the-art. As of date, 774 Kendriya Vidyalayas have been provided with modern science lab equipment.
Online labs
Some KV schools offer online labs for physics, chemistry, and biology for classes 9–12. These labs include interactive simulations, animations, and lab videos.
